Final Delivery

For final delivery I was just polishing up my work and also helped with the rendering. I ended up going into the sequence a lot this delivery. I mainly adjusted the black hole so it would have harsh lines and throw off the feel. I adjust the position of the meteor show and I ended up crediting the end credit scene,


I fixed the harsh lines coming from the blackhole at different parts of the sequence.


And I created the end credits in premiere pro.

Sprint #5 Delivery

 I worked on looking into the black hole and seeing if it was possible to make it tilt. It took me a while to deep dive into the code. But after some help and assist, I came to the conclusion that it was going to be difficult due to how the code was written. I also came up with a back up plan as to what I can attempt but after much discussion we also decide to move on from that. 





So I moved on and continue working more on adjusting the size of the meteor and it has not been going the best but is showing more progress.

Sprint #4 Delivery

So we decide to cut the main meteor effect the actual scene out-- I decide to spend more time on the meteor shower. With that I decide to explore the Unreal Niagara fluid system-- the plug in is still in beta. While working with the system I learned a couple of new things. Two problems I'm running into is the sizing of the effect and the size of the size, making the fluid bigger is a challenge. It also tanks performance a lot and if I'm not careful messing around with it-- I can overheat my laptop.

Sprint #3 Delivery

I started working on the meteor for our scenes. Specifically the backdrop of the scene this week, but I hope to get to the actual meteor that is suppose to hit the ground and create an impact effect by next week. However, the meteor shower still needs a lot of work specially for when they die it leaves noticeable trail instead of fading away.
